RESEARCH NOTE

ACE, ACE Traductores, FADIP and UniCo jointly criticise what they describe as promotion of generative-AI materials during MuseumWeek social-media activity and call for cultural institutions to protect creators’ rights and labour. 13 June 2024 dates this publication, not individual museum posts or campaign activity. Public museums, Ministry and UNESCO involvement is reported by signatories; posts, models, works, institutional replies and corrections remain unverified. Theft, infringement and labour-harm assertions are attributed advocacy, not judicial findings or measured outcomes. No ban, agreement or implementation established.
